About MAVX
MAVX is a self-hosted, static dashboard designed to launch streaming services, music platforms, sports channels, personal media, gaming, and homelab tools — all from your Tesla's in-vehicle browser.
It runs entirely in your browser with no server required after deployment. Categories can be reordered to match your preferences, and a built-in URL launcher lets you open any website through the Tencent Video fullscreen bridge.

- What is MAVX?
- MAVX is a Tesla lounge that launches your saved video, cloud and in-car tools. Fullscreen links pass through Tencent Video and the 1905 bridge.
- How do I open an app?
- Tap any card. It opens the saved destination in a new tab using the link type configured for that entry.
- What is the URL Launcher?
- The bar at the top lets you type any URL and send it through the Tencent Video fullscreen bridge.
- Can I reorder the categories?
- Yes. Grab the dotted handle to the left of any category name and drag it to a new position. Your order is remembered across visits.
- Does it work outside my Tesla?
- Yes, MAVX works in any modern browser. The Tencent Video bridge is tuned for Tesla's in-vehicle browser.
- Is it free?
- Completely free, no account or sign-up required.
- Does MAVX store any of my data?
- No. The only data saved locally is your category order, language preference, country filter, and any custom apps you have added. Nothing is ever sent to a server.
- How do I change the language?
- Tap the language button in the top-right corner to open the Language & Region settings. From there you can choose the interface language and filter apps by country.
- What does the country filter do?
- It hides apps that are not available in your country, such as regional charging networks. Your country is detected automatically from your car's timezone, or you can set it manually in the Language & Region settings.
- Can I add my own apps?
- Yes. Tap the + button in the bottom-right corner to open the Add App form. Enter a name, URL, logo, category and color. You can also choose whether the app opens in fullscreen or in a normal tab.
- Can an app open without fullscreen?
- Yes. When adding a custom app via the + button, toggle off Fullscreen to open it directly in the browser. Self-hosted users can also set
fullscreen: falseon any app inconfig.yml.
